Description

It is proposed to develop an area of land, on the edge of the Police HQ estate, known as "The Green". Currently occupied by old police houses, these buildings provide hostel and office accommodation for the Constabulary. 'The Green' is adjacent to Kemplay Roundabout, in a key strategic location between the main Police HQ complex and the Fire and Rescue HQ building. The proposed development will result in the demolition of these ex-isting buildings, making way for a new operational police base Penrith Deployment Centre (PDC) with Conferecing/Meeting Facilities and a 20 Bed Hostel block.
