PQ0174R Birmingham & Solihull Youth Promise Plus Demand Led Solutions: Digital skills/technology support to NEETs

Youth Promise Plus is a Birmingham and Solihull Employment Pathway Project supported by the European Social Fund and Youth Employment Initiative.

As part of the commissioning of Demand Led Solutions, in respect of the EU commission funded Birmingham & Solihull Youth Promise Plus (YPP) project, quotations are now invited for delivery of Demand Led Solutions: Digital skills/technology support to NEETs. Within this service area, providers are required to:
- Create a bespoke training package for digital/technology skills designed for Youth Promise Plus project participants to facilitate their access to sustainable employment, further training and apprenticeship schemes (including tapering in-work support).
- Deliver three tranches of training and placement activity comprising three weeks of digital skills/technology training plus a two week work placement with an employer in the sector, including a work place buddy service.
- Generate suitable placement opportunities with employers that have vacancies in the digital/technology sector, and support employers to deliver the Work Buddy Service effectively.

The deadline for returning submissions for this opportunity is Monday 11 December at 12 noon. The contract is scheduled to commence from mid-January 2018 and end in June 2018.
