Description
Lead, develop and champion better risk management through the development and implementation of strategies, processes and procedures in accordance with good practice, departmental policy and within the complexity of the environment.
Lead improvement of risk/issue reporting to Programme Board to support quality conversations
Enable, direct and manage facilitation of the identification, analysis and monitoring of threats and opportunities, utilising appropriate periodic and ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
Own, review and assure the risk management strategy and register for the programme and provide a point of expert professional knowledge and experience on risk management for the project and workstream leads.
Design, develop and lead an assurance capability across the programme recognised as the authority for all assurance-related activity and able to provide guidance on requirements across a departmental portfolio.
Guide, steer and lead fully integrated assurance planning to ensure appropriate levels of assurance as part of baseline and future planning activities. Influence senior stakeholders in the practice of integrated assurance.
Implement, monitor and enable continuous improvement through process, sharing and embedding lessons learned. Report and communicate activities, key messages and sharing opportunities.
Provide coordination, direction and guidance to a virtual team. Ensure that individual and organisational learning opportunities are fully exploited in order to enhance organisational capability.
