Description
Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust are looking for expressions of interest from suppliers to design and build a memorial garden which will form part of the wider project of the new Edenbridge Health & Wellbeing centre, which will be a purpose built building and bring together the current Edenbridge & District War Memorial Hospital and the Edenbridge Medical Practice.
The design process needs to encompass a comprehensive engagement process with the local community, working with key community stakeholders to create concept designs that reflect the heart of the town and the Edenbridge War Memorial.
The Trust are looking for an experienced landscape designer and landscaper to deliver on the following aims:-
Public engagement - Undertake public engagement sessions with the Trust Project Team to guide the design process and themes for the garden, this will form part of the concept design process.
Concept design - create concept designs which will lead to the final design and form part of the engagement process.
Full design and planting scheme - Provide full design drawings and planting scheme to reflect the public engagement sessions and design input.
Build of the design of the memorial garden on site. - Complete the build of the gardens in line with the design using locally sourced and sustainable products where possible.
