Universal Youth Services - Centre Based (locality), Outreach and Detached Youth Programmes
The London Borough of Hackney Children & Families Service is pleased to invite bids from suitably qualified organisations for the delivery of a suite of youth services. The services will encompass a range of centre based (locality), mobile and outreach/ detached youth programmes.
Commissioned services will support the Council to provide a range of youth work programmes for children and young people aged 10-19, and up to 25 for young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), that meets the Mayor's priorities for young people and Statutory duties under Section 507B of the Education and Inspections Act. Through the delivery of youth work programmes focussed on the needs of adolescents, these services will aim to support the development of skills for life and work as well as mental and physical wellbeing.
Providers will be required to evidence engagement with key communities, and meet the needs of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities who are less able to access open access provision.
The contract will be separated into Lots to help facilitate bids from local SME and VCS organisations. Providers will be encouraged to consider innovative ways of working together such as Lead Provider, partnership and consortium bids.
The Contract will be awarded for three (3) years starting 01st November 2024 with an option to extend for up to a further two (2) years in increments 1 year subject to performance and funding.
The Council anticipates that the Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) may apply to this contract.
