Description

The provision of Nutritional Products and Services (to include tube feeds, supplements, instant thickening/gelling agents, pumps, consumables and a home delivery service) that will provide a delivery/support service for service users under the care of The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust's Nutrition and Dietetic Service within the Rotherham area. The service will be provided for patients in both the acute and community healthcare settings and is intended to be managed as an off FP10 requirement. A Pre-Tender Supplier Engagement event will be held at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust on Wednesday 24/01/2018. The purpose of this event will be to assist The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and NHS Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group to gain insight into current market conditions relating to nutritional products, consumables and associated services and for potential providers to:
i) Present how they may approach and deliver such a service provision;
ii) Describe how they might manage risk within the service (i.e. patient, product, delivery, support); and;
iii) Demonstrate practical use of EN pumps and equipment that may be used to deliver the service.
Suppliers are asked to register their interest in attending the event directly with susan.grundy@rothgen.nhs.uk no later than 12:00 noon on Friday 5/1/2018. Presentation slots will be no more than 45 minutes with an additional 15 minutes for set-up requirements). A Draft Specification of the service requirement and a Pre-Tender Supplier Information document will be available to Suppliers expressing an interest in this opportunity.
