In addition Bolsover have decided to install Heat Interface units with integrated heat metering units connected via an MBus network back to a central data logger to provide for remote monitoring and billing (HIU's) to each flat, this will ensure compliance with the Heat Network (Metering and Billing) Regulations 2014 whilst reducing heating and hot water costs to the tenants. The Tenderer shall be the principal contractor and Main contractor for the project which shall encompass the heating investment programme, renewal of MCW system mains distribution, a sprinkler installation to each property and commercial areas which shall be installed by a nominated specialist and a bathroom fit out programme that shall be by a contractor from a minor framework that Bolsover already have set up (details supplied with specification). These works shall be carried out onsite at the same time as the above noted installation works. The Tenderer must make allowance for the full coordination of works between the various Contractors, particularly with regard to ensuring the sprinkler installation can be installed to be compliant with BS 9251 and that his programme of works is co-ordinated each week for the phased installation in each apartment. The Tenderer shall be advised that they are required to design, supply and install the project based on the material specification and specialist's advice. To maintain continuity the consultants have carried out an outline design of the Plant rooms and installations with indicative sizes throughout including pipe sizes, radiators and main plant. As the Council require to convert a further 11 Properties in a similar manner the manufacturers, suppliers and specialists are to be included in as the tender to enable easier future maintenance to be provided.
