Description
Newark & Sherwood District Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Principal Contractor to provide specialist fit out works in relation to permanent and temporary exhibitions at the National Civil War Centre in Newark.
The project will comprise the fit-out of interpretive displays comprising:
• Electrical installations including small power and data distribution and lighting
• AV & IT Hardware
• Display cases
• Joinery / Setworks / Metalworking
• Graphic Production and installation
• Physical Interactives
• Decorations
The successful Fit-Out Contractor will be responsible for all exhibition display works, including the programming, coordination and management of these works and the associated specialist sub-contracts. The Fit-Out Contractor will be responsible for appointing the following specialist subcontractors:
• Interactive Exhibit Maker
• Graphic Production Contractor
• AV Hardware Integrator
• Showcase Manufacturer
