Description
The detailed design and build of a scour pipe facility at Shipley Lake, near Heanor. The scour will allow water levels to be lowered to facilitate maintenance and reduce the risk of flooding/failure of the dam in the future. These works are to comply with a statutory direction to implement a Measure in the Interest of Safety (MIOS) under the Reservoirs Act 1975.
