Description

University of Wolverhampton, on behalf of, Pye Green Academy (PGA) is seeking to procure the services of a specialist Contractor to provide Managed Catering Services to the Academy, the current Contract for Catering and Cleaning is provided by Taylor Shaw/Elior UK, this new tender covers the Catering elements of this requirement only.

PGA is an Academy within the University of Wolverhampton Multi Academy Trust (UWMAT). As a member of UWMAT, PGA are part of a network of Academies working collaboratively on supportive, rigorous and sustainable approaches to Academy improvement.

PGA is a mixed Primary Academy in Hednesford, Staffordshire with 421 pupils (including 40 place Nursery however due to a number of 30 hour children PGA only have 32 places) and approximately 42 staff. The Academy population is not particularly ethnically diverse and is predominantly White British. 16.38% of pupils are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM).

Contract go live is anticipated to be 16th February 2021, all TUPE commitments must be agree prior to the start of the Contract. The Successful Tender must utilise the February half term period to rebrand the facility for pupils returning 22nd February 2021. This will include signage and any equipment/provisions which are required to successfully perform the Catering Service. Please note, all personnel must have suitable Uniforms and identification from the start of the Contract term.

Tenderers will be required to submit samples for review by the evaluation panel, the samples will be tested by a mix of HFUTC personnel and students. All samples should be free from branding (anonymous) and shall be provided free of charge.
