Description

Request for Proposal for The Provision of Telephony Services

This is a Request for Proposal issued pursuant to paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 of the Framework Agreement RM1045 with information, instructions and guidance provided in Part A, following consideration of which the submission (Part B) should be completed and returned by all suppliers who wish to submit a proposal for the requirement described in the following pages.
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) wishes to invite interested parties ("Suppliers") to participate in an exercise to establish a Contract for the provision of Telephony Services to the Council ("the Request for Proposal"). The procurement exercise will be a General Further Competition under Crown Commercial Services Framework Agreement RM1045 Network Services, Lot 3 Traditional Telephony Services.

Scope of Contract

The Council has a requirement to identify and appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide a 1+1+1 year term service, to supply the goods/services specified within the Specification.

The total estimated value excluding VAT for the contract is £95,000 per annum. This value is based on historical spend data and is intended to be used as a guide only and is not a guarantee of the level of business that will be generated from the contract.

Period of Contract

The Contract shall take effect on the commencement date and (unless it is otherwise terminated in accordance with its terms or it is otherwise lawfully terminated) shall expire at the end of the period as set out in the award letter. The Contract is expected to commence on 9th April 2018 and will be for a period of 1+1+1 years. Performance and best value will be reviewed after each 12 month period.
