Description

The Authority requires the collection of wild birds carcasses that are deemed to be of surveillance value and delivery of the carcases to designated APHA VIC or Scottish Agricultural College Disease Surveillance Centres (SAC DSC) sites for testing. This service is required on a business-as-usual basis but the contract will also ensure the contractor can meet APHA's increased operation demands in the event of a disease outbreak.

The Authority also requires the provision of unique carcase / sample identification numbers which will be held on a Central Spreadsheet (provided by the Authority to the Contractor).
