Description

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified organisations to provide interpretation services to support people with language barriers, to access services and maximise their outcomes.
All interpretation services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year and are requested / accessed by a professional on behalf of the service user.
This service does not include Deaf/Deafblind interpreting which will be tendered separately.
The services covered by this procurement have been sub-divided into two Lots:
Lot 1 - Face to Face Language Interpreting.
Lot 2 - Telephone interpreting.
Tenderers can apply to deliver either Lot or both. Lots will be awarded to the tenderer/s presenting the best price-quality ratio.
The authority is looking for organisations which can identify innovative digital solutions to better meet the needs of service users as well as identifying opportunities for improved efficiency.
The contract can be delivered by single organisations or consortium/partnerships, and the successful provider will need to maintain strong working relationships and work with other organisations to deliver an effective, timely service.
Contract term: 3 years plus the option to extend up to a further 2 years.
Estimated start date: 1st May 2019.

Tenderers can apply to deliver either Lot or both. Lots will be awarded to the tenderer/s presenting the bestprice-quality ratio.
