Description

The National Physical Laboratory [NPL] requirement is for the automatic placement of electronic components for a wide range of electronic assemblies prior to reflow soldering and is part of a small-scale electronic test vehicle manufacturing line. The system provides an essential tool for fabrication of custom test vehicles which are difficult to fabricate under controlled conditions externally. The proposed system is expected to be relevant to current industry practices.
