Description
Cornwall Council uses the Supplying the South West Portal found at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk to advertise all tender opportunities. New users to the system must register on this site to obtain access to the council's e-tendering system (Proactis).
The work required by CIFCA is for the biennial repaint and minor refit of the Fisheries Patrol Vessel (FPV) Saint Piran.
The vessel has a length of 27.17m overall, a beam of 6.75m and a draft of 1.75m and is berthed in Newlyn, Cornwall. The gross tonnage is 117.26 tonnes. She is built of aluminium, so allowances need to be made for that factor.
The preference is for the work to be undertaken during April and early May 2022 but other dates may be considered, due to their practicality and operational requirements.
