Description

The Public Health Department of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) and the City of Westminster (WCC) have awarded a contract to deliver a Community Champions Project within the borough of Kensington & Chelsea to the Peabody Community Foundation. Community Champions are local volunteers who are engaged and trained to help and support their communities to improve health, wellbeing and community cohesion. They show how local people can work together with services and providers to improve quality and outcomes for communities. The aim of this community champions project is to develop the capacity of local people and services to promote health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities.

The contract is for a period of five (5) years.
