Description

There is an initial known project, which is a definite requirement once this tender has been awarded. You are invited to submit the Supplier Questionnaire to access capability for the provision of the partial replacement of the existing HVAC system to the Redmond's building at Liverpool John Moores University. Please note, beyond this initial project, LJMU do not guarantee any further revenue under this agreement, however if we do have any further related projects that require these services, we will allocate to the successful bidder (with the caveat that pricing is realistic and sustainable)

The proposed works involve the stripping out of existing condensers and addition of new condensers in order to provide multiple stages of cooling to the HVAC systems serving the building. The HVAC systems currently rely on single/two stage cooling that offers a 'single point of failure', is not fit for purpose and does not provide thermal comfort to occupants - especially in winter months. Remedial works to the existing air handling units will be required in order to accommodate multi-stage cooling coils.

The works will include the associated BMS modifications and additions, upgrades to the existing electrical installations to accommodate the new condensers and all building work in association.

Minimum Turnover

The minimum annual turnover bidders must have achieved is £3m. Failure to have £3m T/O or above will result in disqualification from this procurement exercise.
