Description
The Authority has a requirement for user experience designers to facilitate design sprints to achieve the phase 2 work described below.
Background
VIEWER is a clinical insights tool that presents clinicians and managers with data from the Trust's electronic patient record to help them make informed decisions about the clinical care of their patients and the service delivery models that underlie them.
It is currently used by health care professionals across the Trust in a range of pilots including for medication review, management of physical health checks, caseload management in community mental health teams and monitoring equality of access to psychological therapies.
The current VIEWER tool was designed as a proof-of-concept in a collaboration between Trust clinicians, informaticians at the Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and CogStack, a King's College London (KCL) research team.
The Trust's new Clinical Informatics Service (CIS) will be transitioning VIEWER into a fully supported service over the next two years: working with frontline users to ensure the dashboards work for them, improving the underlying data models and creating new visualisations guided by the needs of clinicians and services.
