Description

The Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the following works at the Cliffs Pavilion Theatre, Southend on Sea: -\r

- Demolition of the existing entrance and east side of building\r
- Erect a two storey extension with feature canopy to the east side of the building to form a new main entrance\r
- Improve the internal layout of the building including the foyer, circulation space and hospitality areas within the building and provide new additional WCs and baby changing facilities\r
- Improve access to and within the building including a new internal lift, accessible bar heights and step free access\r
- Alter the existing elevations including the painting of the lower level brickwork on the north elevation and new feature signage\r
- Re-landscape the external area to the east of the building to form a new public plaza including new paving, planting, lighting and art\r

The contract will be let under JCT Standard Building Contract without Quantities 2016 Edition. Full details are set out in Planning Application 23/01216/BC4\r
