Description

City of Bradford MDC (the Council) requires a partner to provide a solution and implementation service to refresh their IBM storage and tape library backup and recovery hardware infrastructure. The solution must incorporate and combine the Council's corporate solution with that of the West Yorkshire Pension Funds (WYPF) which currently runs its own storage and backup solution within the same datacentre as the main infrastructure.

The Council requires a seamless move from their existing corporate tape libraries backup solution to a disk storage backup solution with a small tape backup provision for the WYPF data. The Council will also refresh their aged Corporate IBM N-Series storage and WYPF IBM V5000 storage via this tender.
