Description

The Office for Data analytics carried out a review of regional data requirements as part of scoping the needs of the region. The application and use of economic forecasts is a clear gap in capacity, alongside inconsistent use of forecasts, due to time periods, assumptions, methodology and interpretation. Therefore, this procurement seeks to bring partners together, build capacity to utilise and apply forecasts in strategy development and project assessments.

This model will support the development of a stronger evidence base for coherent strategic cases for investment and understanding of the potential change and should inform and guide the development of businesses cases (as per the New Green Book HMT 2020).
