Description
The requirements are to provide printing and collation services to supply the leaflet and face stickers as part of the Slim My Waste campaign.
1.1 Print
1.1.1Print 260,000 A5, 6pp instructional leaflets 4 colour on 170 gsm silk, 100% recycled, 3 pages folded twice so that face stickers can be inserted. Press ready artwork will be provided (an example has been provided at Appendix 1). Proofs will be required, and Somerset Waste partnership will need to sign off prior to production.
1.1.2Print 500,000 A5 single sheet face stickers on polypropylene (100% recyclable). 2 designs 250,000 of each design, 2 colours, kiss cut elements of the faces to make them peelable. Press ready artwork will be provided (an example has been provided at Appendix 2). Proofs will be required, and Somerset Waste Partnership will need to sign off prior to production.
2.1 Collation of printed material
One of each of the sticker sheets need to be included within the folded leaflet to make it easy for the delivery contractor (to be arranged by Somerset Waste Partnership under a separate contract) to deliver by hand to households across the County. It is the responsibility of the Prospective Supplier to provide the most cost-effective solution within the Total Price tendered in Appendix A. This could be:
i). Simply inserting one of each of the stickers into the folded leaflet and boxing. We will require details of the quantity of leaflets in each box along with the weight and size of each box.
ii). Providing and overprinting C5 envelopes with a simple single colour message and machine stuffing the leaflet and the two stickers and boxing.
Or suggest in addition to i). And ii). above an alternative more cost-effective solution.
