Description
Procurement of the prepaid card service on a 3+1-year basis with a total contract value of £80,000 plus inflation. The service has been procured via call-off from the NEPO505 Payment Card Services Framework.
The prepaid card service supports Cambridgeshire County Council's ambitions to:
1. increase the proportion of people with eligible care needs who use self-directed support to above the national average.
2. co-produce personalised solutions that work for individuals, including introduction of ISFs
3. draw on community assets, helping the community to build them where necessary.
The pre-paid card service includes a call handling support service and a card dispatch service as well as the collection, processing, and distribution of electronic payments on behalf of Direct Payment clients, and the manufacture and distribution of secure payment cards.
