Description

Croydon Council requires a supplier for a specialist energy advice and booking service (SEABS) for the new Croydon Healthy Homes (CHH) service with experienced advisors/call handlers. They will manage an inward Freephone number open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (longer hours are desirable). The SEABs advisors/call handlers will be the first point of contact for vulnerable Croydon residents looking to improve the energy efficiency/thermal comfort of their homes and reduce their energy bills. They will ask appropriate questions to identify the range of support the resident is eligible for, and agree with the resident the most appropriate onward support package and book appointments. They will offer basic advice to the residents as part of the conversations. As well as inward telephone calls, the SEABS advisors/call handlers will contact residents who have self-referred (or been referred) to Croydon Healthy Homes through the online portal, by email or through paper referrals, and book repeat visits as requested by Croydon Healthy Homes advisors.

The duration of the contract is 3 years, subject to the right of The Council (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract by up to 1 year. The maximum length of the contract is therefore 4 years.
