Description

The Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (GMHSCP) as the client and NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group as the Contracting Authority are seeking a partner to develop a "Lived Experience Barometer" to measure in real time the experience of people living with dementia and those who care for them to inform and enable improvements required locally and across Greater Manchester.

The purpose of the Lived Experience Barometer is to provide an understanding as to whether the work being mobilised by Dementia United (DU) to improve the lived experience of people living with dementia is having a positive impact.

GMHSCP need to understand the lived experience, and gauge whether things are getting better or worse for people diagnosed with dementia and their carers. Along with being a measurement tool, the "barometer" should aim to enhance the quality of life for people living with Dementia and those who care for them.

The successful bidder (supported by local intelligence) will identify elements of the lived experience that will inform the creation and development of a measurement tool/system that allows the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership to understand whether the Programmes being implemented are making a significant, positive difference to the lived experience of people living with dementia and their carers.

The Contract to be offered to the successful Bidder at the end of this Procurement will be for a duration of 12 months, which is intended to run from 1st March 2019 until 28th February 2020 with the possibility of one extension of up to 12 months.

As advertised, the anticipated, maximum total contract value (including any potential extensions) is £200,000, with an annual value for year 1 estimated at £150,000 and an annual value for year 2 estimated at £50,000. Full instructions on the pricing can be found in the ITT documentation.

The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within the scope of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the "Regulations"). As such, the procurement of the Services is being run as an Open Procedure. This opportunity is also being advertised in OJEU.
