Description
This procurement is a joint procurement between Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council; and is for:
1. The provision and operation of all 9 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC's) only within the county boundary of Derbyshire.
2. The procurement and on going maintenance during the period of contract of brand new stock of skips and/or refurbished skips that will be assets of the Councils and used on all 9 sites from the contract go live date.
The procurement shall be undertaken in accordance with the latest guidance of the UK Public Contract Regulations (PCR 2015). The procedure being used is the Competitive Dialogue Procedure (CD). This procedure will follow PCR2015 Regulation 30 and may comprise of Selection, Dialogue and Tender stages. It is intended that the de-selection of bidders will occur at the various stages during this procurement in line with Reg 65 of PCR 2015, so that 2 bidders are invited to submit final tenders.
