Description

Birmingham City Council invites organisations to make an application t be considered for a contract for the provision of Research & Development work to support Druids Heath Life Chances Project

The Council is reviewing how they commission and provide services to support citizens at the same time as making sure that physical regeneration of the area compliments the needs of the community.

The pilot work will focus on supporting the Druids Heath area of the city which forms one of two former council estates in the Brandwood Ward. This area will be used to test out a new way of delivering public services with a primary focus on the following three intervention themes:

o Drug and Alcohol Dependency;
o Young People; and
o Healthy Lives

The project will go through five phases of work with this specification focusing on Phase 1 to include:
1. Scope
2. Building the picture
3. Reimagining
You will be expected to work with residents, partners, providers and investors

The successful provider will support delivery of Phase 1 with the research and development work being completed between February and March 2018, with the results reported back to Birmingham City Council by 31 March 2018. Weekly progress updates will be required.

If any further work is required, a further procurement exercise will be carried out.
