ReLondon is classified as a 'smaller authority' under the Local Audit and Accountability Act (2014) and is therefore required to prepare an Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for each financial year. To do this, ReLondon must therefore 'undertake an effective internal audit to evaluate the effectiveness of its risk management, control and governance processes, taking into account public sector internal auditing standards or guidance'.
