Description
Hackney Council has appointed an experienced provider to deliver a furniture collection and reuse service for Hackney Residents. This furniture collection and reuse service aims to collect a minimum of 60 tonnes per annum with a maximum of 1,400 collections per year. This service is part of the Council's commitment to the local circular economy and to provide an alternative solution for reusable items instead of residents using the Council's bulky waste collection. It aims to increase reuse tonnages by building on the service that has been provided to residents since 2005.
