Description
The Pension Fund requires a valuer to provide independent property valuations for the directly held assets in its UK property portfolio. An Independent Valuer is needed to ensure the HCC Pension Fund meets its obligations to value each direct property asset held within the portfolio, in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Valuation - Professional Standards (Incorporating the International Valuation Standards) July 2017 (the "Red Book"). A new valuer must be appointed every 5 years, and the valuer must be a different company from the previously appointed valuer.
The contract will be for for an initial term of 3 years with 2 optional 12 month extensions.
