Description
This procurement is being undertaken for the Provision of the Adults Substance Misuse Service in accordance with regulation 74 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The service is to provide structured treatment and support interventions for adults residing in Sheffield who are experiencing substance use disorders and/or are involved in the Criminal Justice System due to substance use. The service will provide, through one contract, a city wide response to all substances and any newly emerging drug trends through the life of the contract. A range of interventions including low threshold harm reduction, brief interventions and advice, needle exchange, talking therapies, pharmacological interventions, relapse prevention interventions, an outreach function, and recovery based and other kinds of rolling groups and activities will be provided. The service will not provide residential rehabilitation for substance misuse.
