Description
Oxford City Council has provided a Taxi Marshalling Service for a number of years, with the aim to continue to support the vibrant city centre's late night entertainment area. The Service also supports other agencies, such as the police to reduce crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour by reporting any issues that occur to the taxi rank.
Taxi Ranks to be marshalled: Carfax Taxi Rank will be marshalled however, you may be asked to provide extra staff to marshal other taxi ranks in the city centre for a maximum of two years.
• Friday: 11.00 p.m. until 04.00 a.m. the following morning
• Saturday: 11.00 p.m. until 04.00 a.m. the following morning
You will be expected to provide this service for 52 weeks a year unless notified by Oxford City Council. A minimum of 4 weeks' notice will be given if reduced.
