Description

The Council has recently awarded a contract for an internally hosted single social care case management solution for its Children's Services and Adult Care departments.

The Council's Transformation Service anticipates that implementation of the social care case management solution will commence in May 2017.

The social care case management solution is to be hosted on Council managed equipment and requires Oracle WebLogic Server Standard Edition (initially version 11g R2), which is capable of being upgraded during the life of the Contract.

The Council, therefore, requires perpetual licences and annual support for a period of 5 years, with options to extend annually for an additional 2 years. The Council anticipates that these licences will be required in June 2017.

The Council initially requires 8 on-premise Oracle WebLogic Server Standard Edition - Processor Perpetual Licences (CPU), based on the 0.5 Oracle Core Processor Licensing Factor. The Council may need to purchase additional Oracle licences over the life of the Contract.
