Description
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified consultant to undertake an assessment of open spaces within the borough. The assessment will help the Green Spaces Team to understand the current quality of green spaces and will be used by the Planning Policy Team as part of the evidence base for the emerging Sandwell Local Plan. The successful bidder will be appointed at the end of April 2024.
The outputs of the commission are expected to be completed in two phases. Quantitative analysis including an analysis of the provision of open space should be complete by late July 2024 (phase 1). The remaining outputs, including an audit of the quality of open space and household survey should be complete by the end of September 2024 (phase 2).
