Description

Tenders are to be invited for the restoration of a wetland habitat in Cassiobury Park on the River Gade in Watford, Hertfordshire. The works comprise restoration of the former watercress beds (a designated Local Nature Reserve) in to a biodiverse habitat, along with creating a number of river features such as meanders, riffles and backwaters. A large part of the works involves desilting channels to the former water cress beds and making bunds on site. This is a two phase process with initial works commencing in November 2021.
