Description
The Derbyshire CCGs invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers for Approaches to deliver the anti-stigma campaign to support children and young people's mental health ("the service"), to be delivered across Derbyshire (including Derby City).
The duration of the contract will be 18 months, commencing 1 April 2017 and ending 30 September 2018. The total income available (over 18 months) is £20,000, non-recurrent.
Derbyshire's Future in Mind Action Plan commits to: Improve awareness and understanding, and tackling stigma. It has done this through developing an anti-stigma strategy and campaign and action plan, in collaboration with young people and families.

Education, as an element of the campaign, is a proven way to tackle stigma, tackling myths and stereotypes and understanding the impact of judging.
By "Anti-Stigma Campaign" we mean (and the outcomes of the service will be):
Increased knowledge about children and young people's mental health and increased confidence for all to talk about mental health problems.
• Activities which lead to behaviour change, with a reduction in prejudice, discrimination and positive attitudes towards supporting those experiencing mental health problems
• Normalising mental health problems, with no stigma attached to mental ill health
