Description

To provide waste treatment processing capability for Local Authority Collected Municipal Waste (LACMW) in East Kent. This is Residual Waste which is unable to be sent to the Energy from Waste (EfW) Plant or diverted from it, via HouseholdWaste Recycling Facilities, Transfer Stations and on occasions from Waste Collection Authorities. This contract includes receipt, handling, processing, treatment and/or disposal of the waste including any residues and does not include haulage from the Authority's Collection Points to the Provider's facility/ies. The total solution capacity for all Lots should cater for in the region of 27,000 tonnes per annum in total, but this is not warranted, nor is it an indication of future tonnage. The Provider shall be responsible for the reception, handling, storage, processing and treatment of all waste received.
