Description
"The Land and Property Team is seeking to appoint a specialist technical and commercial adviser to support the process of assessing the possibility of introducing a property bond scheme (or alternatives to a property bond), as part of, or as a replacement of, the existing HS2 compensation schemes package offered to owner-occupiers affected by HS2 across the route. There will be three stages within the project.
Stage 1. Design of technical consultation
Stage 2. Analysis of consultation responses
Stage 3. Design of a property bond scheme - Optional stage subject to consultation results in previous stages.
The approved budget is to cover stages one and two. The budget for stage three has not been approved yet as it will fall within the next financial year (2017/2018) and is still subject to confirmation. We are declaring the available budget for stages one and two in the tender. We have issued a PIN has and received two expressions of interest and conducted an initial meeting with the bidders. The project is now going out to market for a competitive tender. Please refer to the specification document for more details.
