Description

In August 2018, the Government issued its Rough Sleeping Strategy committing to halve rough sleeping by 2022 and to end it altogether by 2027. Funding has been awarded to Tendring District Council to help tackle the problems of rough sleeping found in the Tendring area.

The funding awarded is to be spent over a 12 month period.

One element of the funding is to be used to provide an early intervention service to people currently sleeping rough along with those who are sofa surfing which could result in these clients then sleeping rough. This invitation is for quotations from providers who feel they can offer this service to the general specification provided below within the Tendring area.
