Description

BCP Council manages 5 High Rise (18 metres +) flat blocks and under the Building Safety Act there is a requirement to submit a building safety case report for each block.

This tender invites bids from contractors with proven expertise in building safety compliance, particularly those experienced in preparing safety case reports for HRBs. Contractors must demonstrate their ability to meet the legislative requirements set out in the Building Safety Act 2022, including risk assessment, emergency planning, and safety management.

The Higher-Risk Buildings (Management of Safety Risks etc) (England) Regulations 2023 stipulate the specific information to be included in safety case reports. Additionally, the overarching legislation for occupied buildings is the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, as amended, contractors should be aware of and comply with BCPs requirements under this legislation. Contractors must ensure compliance with these requirements.

The successful Bidder will be expected to commence the works no later than 01.04.2025 and ensure the works are completed by no later than 31.05.2025.
