To undertake a research project to provide an overview of research funding activity, and an understanding of the research needs and priorities according to key stakeholders, including DHSC policy colleagues, PHE and NHSE. This will be used to ensure that research funding from NIHR and other funders in the area is directly strategically to the areas of greatest need to support the health system, mothers, babies and families.
