Description

Lancaster University is seeking to establish a Framework agreement for Minor Building Works.

The intention is that this framework will encompass and deliver general building and refurbishment, or improvement works on projects typically between the values of £25K and £250K. Predominantly the framework will involve working with our existing buildings and the work may be of a multi-disciplinary nature, whereby the contractors on the framework will be expected to, and capable of, managing their own sub-contractors on a project by project basis (no more that 50% of the work to be sub-contracted).

With effect from 1 August 2018, the University, has reviewed its governance and income and determined that it is not a 'contracting authority' for the purposes of the EU public procurement regime (Directives 2014/24/EU and 2014/23/EU as implemented in the UK by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016).
