Description

De Montfort University (DMU) invites bids from suitably experienced providers for the development of an electric vehicle charger, the key aspects of the requirement being:

1. Research and Concept Generation - Research the electric vehicle charging market to establish a benchmark of products in the sector along with developing a range of initial concepts.
2. Concept Refinement - Development 2-3 concepts from stage 1 to a suitable cost-effective solution, resulting in a fully detailed 3D CAD model.
3. Design Detail - Develop a final design further, resulting in a fully manufacturable final solution including 3D CAD.
4. Prototyping and Testing - Working prototype(s) used for testing & marketing purposes.
5. Manufacture Development - Complete manufacturing data to obtain manufacturing cost and enable the production of the electric vehicle charger.
