Description
Sworn Diamond Expert position to the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs.
As part of the Government Diamond Office's operating model, imports and exports of rough diamonds are inspected to ensure compliance with the Kimberley Process requirements.
The role of a Sworn Diamond Expert involves attending these inspections accompanied by a staff member of the Government Diamond Office, valuating the import or export, and providing the Government Diamond Office with a detailed report.
