This Service will deliver a safe, high quality service for NHS Brighton and Hove CCG that offers patients a choice of provider, together with choice of location, date and time of appointments, excellent outcomes and an improved patient experience.
The provision of an adult hearing service (over 55 years of age) is a contract for a period of 3 years commencing on the 1st December 2016 with option to extend for a maximum of a further two years.
In 2013 the AQP adult hearing service (over 55 years of age) was commissioned and several providers were accredited. Existing providers will have their accreditation extended for a further period of three years and will continue to provide the service locally.
The offer documentation comprises of the following:

Any provider will be eligible to join a list of qualified providers subject to demonstrating competency against the authority's specified criteria.
It is a requirement of this service that the provider holds;
• Certification/ validation of IQIPS accreditation for adult hearing services or evidence that the provider has commenced the application process and is working towards accreditation within a timeframe agreed by the Commissioner
• Has a process in place to regularly monitor the quality assurance of the service and to re-validate accreditation when necessary.
Please read the qualification questionnaire and the supporting offer documents very carefully since failure to comply with the requirements contained therein (including paying particular attention to Maximum Word Limits for answers) will invalidate your submission.
All correspondence regarding this procurement should be through the e-tendering portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/soepscommissioning. Any correspondence received via other means may not be responded to.
The window for questions from Applicants will close at 12pm, Monday 26th September 2016, allowing time for answers to be posted and applicants to complete and submit their applications by 12pm, Wednesday 5th October 2016.
