Description

Southampton City Council will be commissioning the Lot 4 services in May 2020 for which a call off competition will be issued in January 2020 for the services to begin around May 2020. These services fall under Short break dynamic purchasing system (DPS) that was formed in April 2019.

Lot 4 services are to develop innovative & creative short break provision for disabled children & young people (aged 0-19 years). Also, the purpose of Lot 4 is to support providers to develop innovative and creative short break provision which is not commissioned via one of the other lots. This could include proposals to pilot or test out alternative approaches to short break provision. Further information will be included within the service specification that will be published later.

To enable the above, SCC would like to invite interested organizations to bid for a place on the DPS so they can bid for the call off competition for this commissioning service.

Deadline to be placed on the DPS is 17th January, 2020.
