Description

Slough Borough Council is seeking to commission an Advocacy service for adults under a single contract through the appointment of an Independent Lead Provider. The Independent Lead Provider will be responsible to form any joint working arrangements with organisations that will deliver Independent Statutory and Non-statutory Advocacy services. It will be the responsibility of the Lead Provider to ensure there are appropriate contractual arrangements in place including the management of these arrangements.
The specification sets out the requirements of the service and must be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of the Contract.
The service provider must provide high quality non-instructed advocacy for people with a variety of communication needs. A demonstration of an understanding and commitment to this form of advocacy as well as an ability to deliver this are required as a part of the evaluation process.
