Description

There is a statutory duty for all local authorities to provide advocacy services and independent visitors for looked after children and young people.

The current children's rights, advocacy and independent visitor service within Stockport was established, in its current form, in 2018. It has been delivered by an external provider, with the current contract expiring in March 2022. The successful bidder will be able to develop, promote and consolidate an active and effective service for the children and young people of Stockport.
