Description

The Royal School Wolverhampton is an existing Secondary School which is comprised of Listed Buildings. The school is active and also has on site boarding facilities for approximately 110 pupils.

The purpose of the works is an enabling package of works which seeks to upgrade the majority of the external features on the Listed Building including:

• Roof repairs and replacement, including leadwork and flashings;
• Gutter and downpipe replacements to match the original style and size;
• Leadwork and flashings;
• Chimney repairs including repointing and haunching
• Lantern roof light and flat roof;
• Brickwork repointing and structural repairs; and
• Stonework repairs, including stonework window mullion / transoms.

The works are to be conducted in a live school environment and working restrictions are detailed for external areas where access is required for pupil play areas / circulation and unsecured public areas.

No new build works are proposed.
