Description
Thanet District Council is seeking a supplier to redesign and digitally renovate its existing corporate website - www.thanet.gov.uk.
Developed in 2013, the current website received nearly 1 million visits in 2016, but a recent review has shown that it is no longer fit for purpose. Findings from this review highlighted the problems users have with navigating the website and completing tasks online. With the focus on channel shift and encouraging more users to self-serve via the website we are looking to appoint an agency to redesign and develop the website to meet our users needs.
The supplier will be required to
• deliver a fully responsive website
• deliver a CMS system
• provide a cloud hosted and website technical support service
The Contract is anticipated to commence within October 2017 with a completion date of January 2018. A two year hosting and support contract will be initiated on completion of the project.
Important Information: All procurement documents are attached to the notice on the Kent Business portal (www.kentbusinessportal.org) and available for suppliers to download and complete according to instructions contained.
The procurement will be undertaken on the basis of a Quotation. All quotations will be accepted subject to the bidder providing suitable responses to pass/fail questions ensuring minimum standards are met as set out in the Invitation to Quote document. Evaluation will be in the basis of criteria as set out in the ITQ document.
Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Discussions area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 16.00hrs on Tuesday 12 September 2017
